Turkish Delight for Chinese Auto Manufacturers

It seems that several Chinese car manufacturers are being courted by Turkish stallions as we speak. Up to 40 individual Turkish consortium’s are competing to become distributers of Chinese developed and manufactured vehicles, several Turkish auto companies were at the Beijing Car Show last month to make contact with Chinese manufacturers and talk prices with them. It seems that the Turkish companies are largely impressed with the quality and pricing of Chinese domestically produced cars, especially from the likes of Dongfeng, Chery, Landwnd and Great WallThe Turkish company, The Mermeler Group will become the first distributer of Chinese cars in Turkey, selling Chery’s to the Turkish masses after they reached an agreement with Chery representatives. So how long will it be until we see the Chery A5 and Chery QQ’s cruising the streets of Istanbul?
