VEHICLE sales in China will rise to more than eight million in 2007, Xinhua news agency said yesterday, citing Jiang Lei, an official with China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
China will be the world’s third-largest automaker by the end of this month, after the United States and Japan, surpassing Germany, Xinhua reported. China sold 6.45 million vehicles in the first 11 months, a 25.5 percent increase on a year earlier, it said.
