China Car Times – We’re Back In Business, Baby!

Thats right, the earthquake damage to the cross pacific cables seems to have been fixed to a certain degree.
We’ve been without decent internet access since Christmas day! We’ve been unable to view most foreign websites during the day, only Chinese sites were accessible during the day – we went to bed really early, woke up at 3am Beijing Time, sent off a few emails and garnered contact details then back to bed and up at eight again. It was a funny two weeks, punctuated by the odd lack of sleep induced hallucination.
We always had access to our email systems though – thats the funniest thing, web pages wouldn’t open, but the emails were coming in thick and fast! “Why wont you update??” people cried, fathers offered us their daughters just for snippet of news from the Chinese auto news world, grandmothers felt that they had nothing left to live for and told us such in emails.

So we made some of that up, truth is – we’re back online, we even have a new fax machine and a new employee. Expect us to go back to our five posts a day updates and clean up some of that comment spam.
