It’s about time the government did something about this, Chinese taxi drivers seem to have a great plethora of excuses as to why they cant take you somewhere -”It’s too close” “It’s too far” “Im not going that way” “My shift is over” “Where? I dont know that place!” The drivers are usually really picky around rush hour time, and with good reason too, taxis are driven by two drivers, one night shift, one day shift each with a 12 hour shift in the driving seat. Usually they swap drivers right around rush hour time just to make getting home, or going to work a royal pain, so the drivers usually like to take someone who is going ‘their way’ I hope other city governments roll this idea out.
