Brilliance have signed a deal with South Korea’s Pyeonghwa Motors Corp (also known as PMC) to manufacture Brilliance’s Jinbei minibus vans in North Korea. PMC is a car importer in South Korea, but they’ve also been in the business of manufacturing CKD cars for quite some time, they also assemble cars for China’s Dandong Shuguang automobiles. Brilliance will export its minibus vans in CKD format to North Korea, where they will be built up and then imported into the South Korean market, PMC will also help Brilliance get its Zhonghua range of sedans into the notoriously tough market of South Korea.

Maybe the current thawing of the political climate will facilitate this.
