The Chang’An CV11 MPＶ, one of Chang’ans own designs will be going into full production in the next few days, March 26th to be precise! The CV11 is the big brother of the ben ben supermini, except its a 7 seater with a 2.0l 16v DOHC engine, Chang’an claim this truck can top 200kph! No word on pricing yet, but China Car Times will keep you updated.

Will this be produced in the Changbei plant alongside the Landwind CV9?
Probably – it would make sense, I dont think either are being made for export markets yet.
I thought they had begun export of the CV9 as it was shown, and harshly critiqued I might add, by Automobilwoche’s editor Reinking at the Paris show recently.
I didnt hear about Chang’an exporting, I understood Chang’an were at the Paris show but didnt hear they were exporting their own designed cars.
And Yes, they are made in Changbei
Thank you for that confirmation Ash.
I thought that maybe racedriver Bijvelds was going to bring the CV9 into his Landwind-West stable there in Belgium….. to join the ADAC-defamed Landwind SUV.
btw I also heard it said that Chang’an’s Jinwa subsidiary in Nanjing is building the CV9 as well.
Ive also heard about the CV11 – a hybrid version – do you anything about that?
Yes, in 2008 I understand that Yufeng 御风 hybrid version of the CV9 (Fengshang) will be introduced, and that Chang’an/Landwind holds 156 patents for it.
Sorry if my above comments have sounded a bit confusing but that’s because I believe the CV9 and the CV11 to be the same vehicle with a different skin. One being sold as a Landwind and the other as a Chang’an model. Landwind4X4.com indicates the CV9 will go on sale in Europe from the beginning of 2007.
Wonder what the Euros will think of the Fashion?
The Landwind site seems to go on about how European it is:

Its not that popular either,
