Everybody is going Olympic nuts

Since China was awarded the Olympic games, we’ve heard about it at least once a day for the past few years. We’re not joking, if we had a dollar for everytime we heard about the 2008 Olympic games we would be trillion squillionaires, or something to that effect. Everything in the great Peoples Republic is being done with a goal of being completed before the 2008 Olympics – buildings must be constructed, highways completed, hospitals built, Beijings middle aged cab drivers with high school education must all learn English!!!! Everyone is jumping on the Olympic bandwagon, even Volkswagen it seems with their MPV, they’ve made an Olympic version for 2008, pictured left.

The coloring down the side is supposed to resemble the five Olympic rings, but to China Car Times it looks like a pack of kindergarten kids have gone wild with a box of Crayola crayons and this was the end result.

Ah well, we’re sure people will buy it anyway.
