We don’t know what exactly Newstex.com does, but they contacted us and said they wanted our RSS feed so they could sell it to the likes of New York Times and some other swishy media folks. A few other big name China blogs jumped on the Newstex bandwagon, so we figured it must be a good thing, even if lawyers are invited to the party.
Well, that was nearly two months ago, but they offered us cold hard cash for outstanding writing abilities so we instantly signed up. We always need money to buy some formaldehyde Qingdao beer, and cars. So if you’re a media big wig or something to that effect - sign up to have Newstex inject daily news into your corporate intranet.
Or if you really want us to, we might even be able to give you a comment or two about Chinese cars, or just the Chinese car industry in general for a few peanuts and a chance of fame.
Heres a note for kids, if you’re going to drink beer, dont drink Qingdao beer, at least not for prolonged periods of time. China Car Times is based in Qingdao and it seems like its the only domestic beer we can find. We’ve drank so much of QD Beer, it has no effect anymore.
