Jinbei to get in on the pick-up/SUV game

18 Jinbei to get in on the pick up/SUV game

It seems that earlier this year in the southern Chinese province of Fuzhou, Jinbei (the owner of Brilliance automobiles) quietly slipped into the SUV and pick up business. They plan to sell 40,000 SUV’s and pick up trucks this year, and 100,000 vehicles between the next 3 to 5 years. It seems that Jin Bei are focusing solely on the Fuzhou market for the time being, before they move elsewhere. A strange move, for a company based in Northern China.

unlike the Japanese, the Chinese manufacturers are too foucsed on the numbers of cars they sell instead of customer satifaction and after sell services

Hi Ash, the production facility is in Mianyang, Sichuan province, not in Fujian. It is joint project between Jinbei and the Wuliangye Group (liquor company) of Mianyang. The website is http://www.my-jinbei.com.
    Greetings! Erik

    Hi Ash and Laofan,
How about Brilliance’s City Cowboy SUV (SY6491) and Wolfman Pickup (SY1023) models? Hadn’t they been produced in the Shenyang factory? I think they are Nanhai Fudi-based bodies.

    Erik,

The article I had to hand said they were being made (and sold)(only) in Fuzhou???

    Shit sources I guess.

While your reading this Erik, do you know the website for Jin Bei’s range of flat trucks?
