$30,000 for an electric two seater?!! People who spend $30,000 on a car can and will buy a full size gas guzzler. Here’s a thought. How about making an electric for the people who already buy the high mileage econmy cars? Something in the $10,000 to $15,000 price point. You might actually get a market share versus a small novelty car club.

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH JAMES, 30,000. IS A BIT STEEP I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT PRICED IN THE AREA AS THE VENTURE ONE.

Gaining necessary safety certification will be a challenge. And so regulations like: “use restricted to streets with a speed limit of 56 kph (35 mph)”, might apply.

Dragin… three wheelers are not cars, they’re motorbikes… and as such don’t have to meet any major certification to be street legal.
