Its no secret that Nanjing Fiat are not doing to well sales wise in the Peoples Republic of China - It looks like Nanjing Autos are putting all their efforts into Nanjing MG and starting to neglect Fiat. Fiat have openly hinted that they will go with Chery if needs be to create a new range of cars, and improve their sales. Chery are already helping Nanjing Fiat with Alfa Romeo production here in China. Fiat are going to import several models directly into China, to show that they do make some sexy cars and not just late 90’s style Puntos for the Chinese market.
Nanjing Fiat will import the following models into China:
- Grande Punto
- Bravo
- Linea
All three of which are highly sexy and give China Car Times good feelings about the future of Fiat in China, if they sell them at a good price that is.
