I spent £29,750 on a rover 2 months before they closed and the value halved over night. I feel rover / mg should have put effort it to keep the cars they had completely up to date as is the Roewe I think the redesigned body work looks great. I did say I would never buy one but why not every other car in the UK seems to come from aborad. After all what do we make here any more ! Car manufacturers make batches of each colour. A one month delay is no delay at all. The three month delay on other colours will be because in the next three months they are building black blue and silver, (possibly one month of each?). They appear to be selling around 3000 units per month or 36,000 units per annum. To put it in perspective, BMW Oxford are manufacturing 250,000 Minis a year. When the MG7 becomes available, even those who are most pessimistic about NAC's chances will expect them to eat into the total sales for Rover 75 derivitaves. I dont know what SAICs expectations were, but 36,000 units a year seems relatively modest. I suspect the demand for their smaller vehicle when it comes to market will be much more impressive.
