Brilliance BS6 Crash Test Pictures

From what we understand the German motoring organization ADAC and a Dutch manufacturing group ANWB recently tested the Brilliance BS6 in their own crash testing facilities and gave it a rather miserable 2 stars, to add insult to injury they took a star away for the dismal side impact test, the end result being only 1 star out of a maximum of five. If you can read German, you may be interested in the original article, they also have a video on their site, seeing as I got kicked out of German class when I was 11 years old, I have to rely on an online translator
If you’re like us, and you cant tell your Germans from your Frenchies, then just look at the pictures – click continue reading to see more!

We hope the newer, Brilliance BS4 is made to a higher standard.

why won’t you let me make my point?
no im quite interested to know what point you are indeed trying to make? I didn’t quite undestand what you were trying to say or any implied significance in that the boot and doors were open either due to my stupidity or ur subtlety, but please enlighten me by all means
If you want to commit suicide, just do it in this car or other chinese car!!
I guess nothing is without a fault at its initial stage, 1 star rating, is indeed a misery. However, they have recovered and have achieved 3 stars. This is important news in the current climate of suspicion about the quality and safety of China-made goods.
(crash test, conducted by Spain’s IDIADA Automotive Technologies )
ok, people have had their fun at the Chinese expense. When China achieves 5 stars in crash tests, they’ll find something else to criticize. I’m sure in 2008, Chinese cars will achieve at least 3 stars or more in European tests. Just wonder what else they’ll criticize.
Sorry, as an American, I will never buy a product from china that I have to entrust my life to. Sure, I’ll buy your DVD players and cheap electronics. I can live with a 25-30% failure rate, but I sure as hell ain’t putting my family in a automobile designed and manufactured in China, even if they were giving them away.
Im sure the entire Chinese people are reeling at this economic loss.
Thank you, John!
To John Bates,
First of all thank you for your input, I fully understand your postition, no-one wants to put the loved ones at risk.
I think Brilliance and other Chinese carmakers are listening to these opinions and working on the safety issues to ease the customers’ worries. Thanks
I am an idiot.
