Beijing Hyundai to make ‘QQ killer’

hyundai-getz.jpgBeijing Hyundai are planning on creating a QQ killing car - Beijing Hyundai honestly really doesnt make any interesting mid size or small family cars here in China, so the newly proclaimed ‘Hyundai Getz’ (thats with a z) is likely to kick up some price wars in China, especially as the Chery A1 has just gone on the market.

The Hyundai Getz is Hyundais smallest car to date and comes with the choice of 1.1, 1.4 and 1.6 economy engines. The Getz is already selling well around the world.

Making the Getz in China is a smart move into a lucrative market, this year the sales of super minis like the QQ, Getz, etc have already over taken the number of larger passenger vehicles in China. It is a market that can only get bigger, especially with the number of new drivers that wish to buy something small, fashionable and more importantly, cheap, before progressing onto bigger vehicles.

No foreign car maker has made such remarkable progress in China, in such a short time. After all they only began producing in Beijing in 2003. The Koreans have always had a close affinity with the Chinese. Not withstanding the fact that, down through history, the Chinese Empire could have swallowed up the little peninsula nation in a heartbeat.
These two sons of Confucius, Korea and China, work well together.
Though Hyundai has lost ground a bit in recent months this competitive model should get them back in the top ten.

China have tried to overtake Korea many times. Chinese empire never succeeded to overtake Korean peninsula. The name Korea derives from Ko-Chosun,Korguryo Empire, Koryo Dynasty. Our ancestors were trained to fight with barbarians. Korean history have shown past and present. Koreans will never bow down or swallow up by China, Mongolia, Japan, USA, and even Russia. Ko-Chosun and Korguryo ancestors have fought off the competitors Hyundai motor with upgrade model will take on China challenge. Hyundai will aim to be top 5 in China.

That car will be the Atos, an ugly mini-car with 1.0 and 1.1 engines, but they could be planning in a Low-Cost car!
