Supermini fans, Rejoice! Nissan Micra coming to China!

Dongfeng Ri Chan, the makers of Nissan in the Peoples Republic have signed up with Nissan to produce the uber cute Nissan Micra in China. The bubbly little car that has seen at least two decades of service via different incarnations under the Micra tag is sure to be a hit with trendy fashionable Chinese who are wanting to appear hip. However, these hipsters will have to wait a while to get one – the Micra isnt expected to go on the market until 2009 at least. Chinese motoring fans are guessing that the Chinese Micra will sell for around 90,000rmb so while it aint no QQ killer yet, we expect that for looks, quality, and for the fashion statement that it is, the Micra will kick ass.
