We’ve heard that on August 28th 2007 the MG7 will officially go on the market in China. The MG7 has been a long time coming, we’ve waited and we’ve waited some more, but it looks like there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel. Although locations of various Chinese dealers are still unknown (we have a vague idea of where our local dealer is, we’ve just got to find the time to visit them) we have been told that MG dealers that are open are currently accepting deposits for the new MG7 car. The deposit is 50,000rmb which seems fair enough to China Car Times. The 1.8T is expected to cost 210,000rmb and the 2.5V6 is being estimated at 230,000rmb.
