The Suzuki Splash, based off of the well used Suzuki Swift platform, (which is also shared with the SX4) is set to be produced in China in the first half of 2007. The best selling Suzuki Swift is arguably one of the best cars Suzuki have ever made, ever, and the fact that Suzuki have stuck the new Splash shell onto the Swift platform only goes to show how much confidence Suzuki have in that particular chassis. Tha Suzuki Splash does remind us of the Changhe Ideal, given that Changhe and Suzuki do have a JV agreement, we’re wondering if it was a truly independent design or if it was a joint design?
