The CS6 is built on the original Mitsubishi Shogun chassis, and does have a Mitsubishi engine under the hood, although the 2.4 litre motor is not the original Shogun engine, but rather a bigger version of what is used in the Brilliance range of cars, and the Great Wall Hover SUV.
