New Chevy Aveo coming to China?
The Chevy Aveo is made in China via the SAIC/GM joint venture which has seen a great range of Chevrolet vehicles being manufactured and sold in the Peoples Republic. The Chevy China line up is quite a nice range of small family cars to larger mid size sedans like Chevrolet Epica, previous the Chevrolet Blazer was made via a Brilliance/Chevrolet joint venture but that seems to have ceased. Autoblog didnt like the Chevy Aveo in one of their posts, but we at China Car Times rather like it.
The new shape Aveo has been seen out testing in the usual SAIC supplied camoflauge:
The Aveo comes with either a 1.2 or a 1.4 engine in China and has a twin brother saloon version although we are currently unsure if the saloon version will get the same front grill. the new shaped Aveo is likely to sell well in China.

Its a really pretty car but to me looks a little bit like the new Ford Verve, the big front grill, and a very agresive profile. Maybe this is the early reponse to the Verve. Im not sure if Ford is planing to launch this new car here in China, I HOPE THEY DO IT. Anyway the Aveo have had a good design since the first model wich was voted in several design books and magazines as the car of the year.
Is this a Korean or American Chevy?
It is made in Bupyung gu Korea. MARK, The design pictured will be available in US.

For those who think that little vent (aveo-5) its from a holden car (ausi.) engineered long time ago not a ford idea!!!!!! look on G.M. HOLDEN and see a nice line (commodore) H S V HY HY from down under .
