Great Wall to Fiat ‘Stick it, Son!’ GW Perry goes on the market

29 October 2007 7 Comments

The Great Wall Perry was launched today amidst much pomp in a Great Wall ceremony, despite the legal threats from Fiat. The Perry is now on sale for a cheap 43,000rmb to 53,000rmb. Want a bargain? You might find one in the Perry, almost half the price of the SX4 and pretty much the same!

The Perry comes with a 1.3 Mitsubishi supplied motor.

Check out the interior console shot here, more pictures as we get them:

hehehe…. definitely more “inspiration” on the interior than exterior on this one… http://www.theaa.com/images/allaboutcars/testreports/2005013_fiat_panda4×4_interior.jpg

This is a Fiat Panda in a very small disguise. Fiat should sue them for all they’ve got. This is plainly an infringement on copyright. Great Wall should be ashamed of themselves.

Gli interni sono identici in tutto e per tutto a quelli della fiat Panda. Provate ora a dire che non hanno copiato l’ottima utilitaria di Torino!

I can’t believe Great Wall are marketing this vehicle when legal proceedings are ongoing. They are not doing themselves any favours, especially if they lose the case, which im sure they will. No matter how defiant they appear, Peri production will not go ahead and will hopefully be prevented. Good luck to FIAT.
