600,000 cars to be exported out of China this year
The Guangzhou Daily newspaper is reporting today that China is on track to export 600,000 vehicles this year, worth around $4.79 billion USD, this will be an on paper increase of 50 to 60% on 2006 figures.
Car imports into China are also skyrocketing, with an estimated 2 billion USD worth of vehicles and auto parts coming into the PRC this year.

I think in a few years American carmakers like GM, Ford and Chrysler will add substantially to the number of cars exported out of China into North America. It is all about making profits. And yes these American companies will indirectly force Chinese domestic car manufacturers to improve their quality and safety if they also want to sell cars in North America. So ultimately I believe the American Big 3 is good for the domestic Chinese car manufacturers.
I think china should be bombed real soon….they are becoming disrispectful…I am dumber than a box of rocks.
