Hyundai Elantra – not as dull as before

Beijing Hyundai have been struggling of late, their models in China are rather dull compared to their overseas models. Beijing Hyundai have been designing their own models in China, such as the new Sonata, but sales cannot be compared to the runaway success of the Accord or the Camry. The Elantra sales could be described as average when compared to the Focus and the Buick Excelle, Hyundai hopes to counter the aging Excelle and Focus with an updated Elantra for 08.

The exterior has had a minor face lift, but the biggest change appears to be a vastly improved design.
