The Lifan 620 seems to much bigger than the Lifan 520, and has a much nicer design. Previously on China Car Times, we posted a mock up of the 620 (above picture), but nothing since then. It seems the Lifan 620 is soon going to became a reality. The Lifan 620 was seen out testing, possibly in the Lifan factory grounds:

The smaller pictures above show the lights compared to other models, including a Skoda Octavia. The Chinese motoring press are saying that the Lifan 620 will be contain either a 1.6 or a 1.8 engine, the Chinese press also say that Lifan may well use the BMW derived Tritec engine, yet Lifan tell us they have sinced stopped using the Beemer engine, and use their own engine instead. The Lifan 620 was designed in house by Lifan.

It’s ncie to see a chinese manufacturer design something themselves and not copy Euro, Japanese or American designs. Well done. If only it wasn’t so dull and featureless. Look at the photos, close the article and then 5 minutes later try and remember the shape and detailing of the car. Bet you can’t!!

They, like, totally copied BMW’s 3-series’ headlight shape. It looks like they’re actually using the same mold! Could it be because the picture is just a Photoshop job?
