Yeah…..knowing how they drive I’ll still outrun them in my Santana, perhaps even the Chang.
Its something to show off to the mistress, though!
Cant do that with your bucket o’ bolts Chang, can you! (?)
Obviously you do not understand the allure and power of the mighty Chang
I do - I was just looking at them on Taobao.com
There doesnt seem to be any for sale in Qingdao, or Shandong.

I think I just found my wifes christmas gift!
What kind of license do you need for these? C1?
You need a D endorsement.
There is a girl riding around Shanghai on a pink one.
Well actually more than a one riding around on pink ones if you know what I mean
Whats a D Endorsement?
an added letter to the license?
Yep. D is for motorcycles and three wheeled vehicles.
There is an explanation of the endorsements/vehicle validity coding on the back of the license.
SO there is! Not just a pretty face.
I checked on all three of my licenses!
It looks like they got a good deal on nice tall table legs but missed out the giant tabletop to go with it

I guess they needed some place to put the lights
Ive also seen the 武警 around in a Roewe 750 with the red and blue lights behind the grill.
It looked ace.
Wish I was a 武警
hey cmon…an MGTF as a chaser?…i suppose only in. That thing will get raped over here…ur avg commodore will out run it…
Chases hardly ever happen in China, its more of a power symbol.
MGTF is pretty fast given its torque/power to weight ratio.
Im sure the MG nerds…. er…. gentlemen, will be along shortly to educate you.
A chase could end a few ways…

1, As soon as they got on the highway they would get caught at the next toll booth but only if the cop giving chase wasn’t due for his lunch break.
2, Unless the guy driving is an ex taxi driver then he will have no experience of driving at high speed and will probably write himself off.
3, If the chase is in the city it will be very short unless he is driving a bus because they rarely stop anyway.
4, The perp will run out of gas looking for a station.
5, Going from 1st-5th gear in under 50km/h won’t get him far.
6, About 2 minutes into the chase he would have wished he had a car faster than a QQ.
7, Avoiding all those traffic hazards will slow the chase down. Hazards include people, other cars, buses, taxis, bicycles carrying half the house, roadside stalls, traffic barriers, loose chickens and kids
8,(……)Self censored.
9, The chase passes 10 other police cars but is still only chased by the first one in pursuit (if at all).
10, After being caught the driver just gives the cop a “gift” and drives off without a ticket.
For a low speed chase around town it is almost ideal - a motorbike might be better. Out on the highway it will be faster than most other cars and if anything is able to outrun it then the chase is too dangerous for anything but an empty Austrailian highway anyway and you need a helicopter to avoid putting other road users at risk!
With a small cabin area as per the TF you should be safe, with two touboazi cops smokimg flat out in the damn thing it will take some time to clear the internal smog away to be able see who has passed them and therefore some seconds before they give chase!
