Lifan 620, Expected to cost 70 to 80,000rmb!
The Lifan 620 spyshots were leaked onto the internet a few weeks ago, the Chinese motoring press has been busy speculating as to its cost. The 620 has looks that seem above its price class, but the Chinese press seem to believe it will be in the 70,000rmb to 80,000rmb price range. (click pic for bigger view)

The Chinese press say this 620 has a 1.6 Tritec engine or a 1.6l Lifan self developed motor (LF481Q3). According to sources, the Lifan 620, will be around the same size, and price as a Chery A5.
Lifan are currently busy building up their car range, over 2008 we can expect to see SUVs, crossovers, and superminis from Lifan.

Bland little bastard isnt it!
It may be bland, but what sells better in China, than blandness?
How else could VW sell so many Santanas a decade after they went out everywhere else, how can you explain all the twenty to fourty year old men that lap up Polo saloons, Boras, and Passats? Lets not even start on Corolla or Vios sales!
Ye, it is bland but as long as it is their work, then it’s ok I think
Well I suppose at least you can’t accuse them of copying it!
And I hope this model will do well in the crash test like the previous model. Good luck Lifan.
So you think blandness should continue?
Until blandess stops selling, I guess it makes sense.
Ash do you mean bland cars for bland people?
Are you trying to make me say something I shouldnt
There is a distinct lack of ‘funky cars’ in China, the Scion range from Toyota would sell quite well in China I would imagine.
