Chery puts turbo on 800cc car - 1980s are back again!

Chery has become the first Chinese engine (and auto) manufacturer to produce an 800cc motor that is turbo assisted.

The 800cc turbo motor is a three cylinder has a max power output of 44kw at 6000rpm. Chery are expected to put the pocket rocket engine into the QQ3, and the QQ5.

What this means to us: The 1980s turbo era is back, in 2008 PRC.
