More on the Geely Death Vessel

The Geely ‘Death Vessel’, nee ‘Freedom Vessel’ was recently featured on China Car Times, however, it transpires that the crash test was carried out over a year ago! For some strange reason, the Chinese automotive press have only just picked up on it.

Here is the video of the crash test:

Apparently, the car is so unsafe, the Russian crash test guys only give the occupants a 10% chance of survival in a car crash, and therefore a 90% chance of death in a severe crash.

Perhaps so - but the chinese media only just picked up on it!

You could have always sent it in though ;)

Be Aware !!!
This test was made by Geely’s russian competitor AvtoVAZ and results can be forged

the truth is the truth, Geely just need to face it, even the C-Ncap shows that Geely did bad (only 2 stars) in 56 kph crash, so tell me how can it survive a 64 kph crash ?

but tbh , i’d love to see some LADA going through this test :D

I agree, a badly crumpled car like this tells more about chinese manufacturing techniques than any amount of press blurb! Let’s hope this makes them sit up and take notice and actually try and improve their results.
