Apologies to those of you who wanted to get your Chinese car industry fix today. It appears that our Chinese made belt driven, one stroke, server was running at peak capacity for most of the day.
China Car Times staff can be seen to the left inspecting our generator/tractor. All is well again!
Regular updates will continue, soon.

On a completely none related note - I was rode on the back of one of those tractors across the middle of Qinghai. We couldnt go past a river without stopping to fill up a bucket of water to keep the engine cool (manually pour water in the engine!)
I had the ringing of the engine (tug tug tug tug tug tug!) in my ears for months afterwards, thankfully the black soot from the engine washed off my face after a week or so.
Qinghai, never again.
Those tractors are essential in modern China…. Have to give the migrants a few memories from back home while they are working in the cities.
Unimog…
Don’t knock those Yanmar liquid-cooled indestructable, one-cylinder, hand crank start engines.
I have the utmost respect for them. Ran a generator many a night for me in the jungle - cracked block and all.
