Don't knock those Yanmar liquid-cooled indestructable, one-cylinder, hand crank start engines.

I have the utmost respect for them. Ran a generator many a night for me in the jungle - cracked block and all.

Those tractors are essential in modern China.... Have to give the migrants a few memories from back home while they are working in the cities.

On a completely none related note - I was rode on the back of one of those tractors across the middle of Qinghai. We couldnt go past a river without stopping to fill up a bucket of water to keep the engine cool (manually pour water in the engine!)

I had the ringing of the engine (tug tug tug tug tug tug!) in my ears for months afterwards, thankfully the black soot from the engine washed off my face after a week or so.

Qinghai, never again.
