Benz, BMW, pack your bags and go home! Geely GC will ruin your tea party!

Geely are getting serious about cars. They’ve made lots of cars in the past, some excellent cars that have become the back bone of the low cost motor industry, and then theres the odd few cars which leave us thinking ‘what?’ then theres the recent renderings, and Geelys plan to enter the executive market.

Geely have also been working on a range of engines that will fit into the GC range, such as 3.5l and 3.0l CVVT models, it is also rumored that Geely will launch an even bigger engine at the Beijing Auto Show or later in the year. The Geely GC is rumored to be around 4.9m long, making it on par with the Toyota Crown and a bit bigger than a BMW 5 series.

If these are just renderings, I hope they go for the styling of the first picture (”geely-gc”). It’s unique, and the grill isn’t too overpowering.

Today is the 21st, but still no news on this. A bit bland in the overall design, but still a huge step for Geely.
