Tata became world-famous instantly with Nano. And everyone praised Tata for being so original and inventive, in spite of Nano being the cheapest car in the world.

There are too many global giants doing business in China for China’s own brands to grow. Basically, Chinese communist party made the mistake of openning up the Chinese market before Chinese brands were ready to compete with global giants.
