As to my recent driving experiences with a number of Chinese cars in the mid-size sedan segment, i plan to trade in my new Chery Eastar to get a Brilliance facelifted BS6. JV partner BMW did an excellent job at Shenyang operation. Some senior European car importers told us during Beijing motorshow that Brilliance interior quality and exterior car design is superior to low-to-mid priced cars of Chery, Geely and other emerging business sedan carmaker (JAC, Roewe).

However my experience with the BS4 saloon is that the interior is a big problem. I particularly dislike the fake wood. The plastics are harsh and buttons and stalks not of great quality.
