We have said it before, in China, cars just never appear to die or grow old gracefully. Manufacturers bring in a new model, but continue to sell the old model with a new paint job or other small cosmetic changes. China Car Times can think of the Santana range (1000, 2000, 3000 and Passat, and Passat Lingyu, and Magotan!) all different generations of practically the same car (albeit different platforms), Hyundai recently got in on the game with their new China only Elantra and now Mazda.
FAW and Mazda have decided that they should continue to keep the old Mazda 6 in production for a little while longer, despite the latest Mazda 6 set to go on sale at the same time. The two Mazda 6’s will apparently sell side by side!

For a second I thought they were going to build the new American Mazda 6 and the Euro Mazda 6. Thank goodness.
I take it that the Euro version is going to be sold here?
