I need an inexpensive vehicle for around town. Budget is 40K to 50K rmb, no more. What are the recommendations. I'd prefer a japanese 3 cylinder to anything else, but not sure it is available in that price range. The Xiali looks affordable and there seem to be TONS of them in and around BJ making spare parts an easy find. I'd also buy an old BJ-2020 jeep if I could find one for the right price. Auto Beijing 2008 came and went away and we didn’t really see REAL coverage !

I found some excellent coverage from a website caleld TheTycho and AutoBLOG chineese ( except that I can’t read chineese )

but I prefer CCTs interface and style .. so plz more news :)

as for the site itself , a forum would be nice or even just a shoutbox to have some intresting convos with other users .

Yes, I know that discounts are constantly happening in the industry (and possible price increases as well due to rising steel costs), but if there was SOME place we could go to have a decent idea what current prices are - that would be GREAT. We can all pitch in to keep the info "current", so to speak - and it DOESN'T need to be TOO detailed. A forum area would also be nice, but that's been asked about before so need to be redundant.
