It was a bit more noisier than usual at 2:28pm today:
Very interesting to see the whole country unite and carry out one task with very little notice from the central government. China Car Times honked as well.

So much for a dignified moment of silence…
I was with about 30 5 year olds who held their poise and stood silently for around 4 minutes (not an easy feat). Outside however it was pretty noisy, also heard was the fire truck sirens and a bl**dy loud emergency horn.
