A representative of BMW MINI in Beijing called China Car Times earlier today to let us know that our previous article regarding the seemingly high price of the MINI Cooper S. MINI let us know that the MINI Cooper S is not available in China, and if it was, it wouldn’t be 750,000rmb.
China Car Times obtained the price of the Cooper S from Autohome’s very useful pricing page, which does state 750k. Obviously CCT was wrong to quote Autohome.
China Car Times is very sorry if we caused Beijing BMW any anguish or lost sleep.
