Looks like a crushed beer can...At least a beer can had a use prior to crushing. This car is a rolling coffin, I'm surprised a lawyer isn't following it around waiting for an accident, so he can sue the car company for making a car that an idiot could drive after an earthquake.

Well, if the car is FF-config, of course it'll be able to "drive" after its rear is crushed. Well, I guess the gas tank had to survive the impact but from the photos, the rear end didn't really get crushed all that much. Didn't Top Gear once drive a car with the rear end chopped off in the middle of London? That was amusing :)

I wonder if the insurance policy covers natural disasters... Nothing a backyard mechanic with a sledgehammer and some fibreglass can't fix.

I remember when a few people (guys)would drive around without the hood on their rig to show off the engine and get a ticket. I guess you can drive any unsafe vehicle in China and get away with it. Maybe he was taking to the insurance adjuster...

The opposite campaign of the "Lemon Mercedes" paraded around by the irate owner and inviting people to sledgehammer it.

Bet this owner doesn't hate the French!

That's great but it's not exactly safe to drive either. It's driveable, reminds me of the Top Gear stance on the Hilux http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Top-Gear-tries-to-destroy_105017.htm
