The SouEast V3 concept car that was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show has finally been given a name, 菱悦 - Ling Yue, which means something along the lines of a pleasing water chestnut. We hope the English name is much more interesting!
The Ling Yue is expected to go on the market in September 2008, although pricing is currently unannounced, China Car Times can guess it will be in the 80,000rmb region, making it in a perfect position to target the exteremly popular Brilliance BS.
Engine wise, the SouEast will be borrowing technology from its famous partner, Mitsubishi, in the form of a 1.5l MIVEC engine (4G15S)

Isn’t this car just a modified old Lancer? The side profile looks as if it is.
I am thinking it might be! Possibly?
Remember those spy shots you showed a few months ago? Isn’t this the car?
Yep, thats the one!
Yes, give it a name Soweast, so we don’t confuse it with Chery’s V3 (B14) crossover.
What’s that in the background? A Civic?
