The KV6 is the V6 derived from the K-Series, and was produced by Rover in 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre versions. The 1.8-turbo K-series effectively replaced the 2.0 KV6 in Rover's line up when introduced, as it produced less CO2, so was taxed less severely in the UK. The 1.8 turbo is not a KV6 - it is a K-series in-line 4.
