Charlie,

The Chinese market is not yet over a million cars a month, but it is very close. Roughly ten million a year.

am I correct in assuming that the chinese auto market is running at about 500K units a month -- or six million cars a year?

that means these suvs are about 103K sales in half a year, maybe 250K in a year; so roughly 5% of the entire market?
