Geely Panda/AOO: Yours for 40,000rmb but would you really want it?

geely aoo Geely Panda/AOO: Yours for 40,000rmb but would you really want it?The Geely Panda will be going on sale from August onwards for the rather low price of 40,000rmb and rising.

The Geely Panda has been on China Car Times several times before, commenters on CCT were not overly friendly towards the panda influenced design. The Geely Panda is the first Geely car to carry the new Geely logo, and Geely plan to build a brand around the Panda series, the way Chery have done with the QQ series.

Despite the cars outer design being an acquired taste, under the hood the engine specification look rather interesting; a 1 litre CVVT engine, so it will be small and a gas saver to boot.

Hell, for 40k you could buy it and then toss it into storage somewhere, never driving it, hoping that the kitsch value of the car will make it popular again one day with collectors so you can sell it on eBay (or the Chinese equivalent) for a hefty profit!
