Sad day for American made cars:

are there any american made cars in china? all the buicks seem to be korean. Fords seems to be foci — but I can’t imagine they are being made in the US.

    171.143 vehicles, 65,226 sedans.

leaving 105,000 “others”. Can we assume they are SUVs?

Not many. There are the Hummers and a few other private American imports. You see the odd car like a Taurus or Lincoln Towncar around.

GM mainly makes Korean cars along with, Asian and Australian designs in China. Is the Regal the only American design currently produced here? I can’t think of another.

Ford produce versions of their European cars.

Chrysler produces the 300C in China.

The Chinese Lacrosse is based on the same platform as the North American version, although it is much improved.

You can also buy the Chrysler Sebring here now – I believe this is also locally manufactured.

The Fords you see here are locally-manufactured.
