SouEast to roll out three new own brand vehicles

SouEast Automobiles, the joint venture partner of Mitsubishi in China is set to roll out three own branded vehicles in China over the coming year.

The V3 will be SouEast’s first own branded sedan to be launched. The V3 was unveiled at the recent Beijing Auto Show where it received a warm response from the crowds. The V3 will be kitted out with a 1.5l MIVEC Mitsubishi engine, which will please buyers with its frugality, the engine uses an impressive 4.3l per 100km.

The Lancer will get a slight update for 2008, but the updates are to the chassis and the engine, rather than exterior updates.

The Mitsubishi Zinger mini MPV will be launched by SouEast-Mitsubishi by the end of the year, but could be set to carry the SouEast branding rather than Mitsubishi’s branding.

The Zinger will be launched towards the end of 2008, we will continue to update you on the Zinger Burgers progress.

A new range of cars are what SouEast really need to get their range upto spec, they gained a massive early lead on the competition in 2000 to 2003 when the market wasnt very developed, but now their older models such as previous generation Lancers, and the Delica MPV are sorely lacking behind much more modern competition.
