The Governments ‘Green List’ for green cars gets increased

The Central Governments purchasing list for green cars has been increased thanks to several ‘green’ models being released in the past six months. The new cars that have been added to procurement lists are:

  • QQ3
  • QQ6
  • Brilliance FRV
  • Hafei Lobo (updated model)

Its clear that government wishes to break its workers away from buying bigger cars, and stear them towards smaller, greener cars. The ‘Green Car List’ will continue to grow over the coming months as more and more cars get government approval.

Approval is not enough. It’s gonna take tax credits, etc. to prod the buying public.

I hope Chinese citizens don’t take the same route as Americans have. There is no need to buy huge cars that waste gas when you can buy smaller more efficient cars.

Does not help that some cities in China prevent cars with small engines from driving on expressways/flyovers so as not to “slow down” traffic…so you are encouraged to buy larger cars…

I think all motorists have seen how fast large trucks fully laden go when they move uphill….but those are allowed on the expressways…STRANGE….
