Chery A3 – to be launched Sept 26th

13 September 2008 4 Comments

The A3 is one of China Car Times favorite Chinese made cars of all time, it manages to combine a slick design, a decent interior, and a low price together in one package. At one time, the designs of Chery were nothing more than copies, the interiors were low quality plastics, but now the transformation is complete. Chery have come a long way, in a short time, and the A3 looks just fantastic.

We’ve been waiting for the A3 to come onto the market for a while, and we havent been dissapointed at all by its pricing, which was announced as being from 100,980rmb to 160,000rmb. The A3 is also packed with electrical goodies that have become the norm on cars in higher price brackets, but remain rare on cheaper cars, such as ESP, and also six airbags, which shows that Chery have had a long, good think, about safety aspects of its motors.

We’re looking forward to getting behind the wheel of an A3 very shortly!

looks sporty. What engine does it employ? have they used a firm like IDEA’s support to design it?
