great wall florid Great Wall to launch Xuan Li/Florid in DecemberGreat Wall, China’s top maker of SUV’s and pick up trucks, previously decided to branch out into the small car market, as well as making its first MPV. Its efforts were at the time were mocked for being clones, or heavily influenced by other manufacturers designs. This did not effect Great Wall in the slightest, and they went on to build the Perry, despite opposition from Italian judges, although Great Wall say they designed it all by themselves.

Great Wall wish to increase their small car line up, and will launch the Xuan Li model at the Guangzhou Auto Show, automotive reports also estimate the Xuan Li will be in the 60,000rmb to 80,000rmb range.

The Florid will make full use of Great Walls engine technology, with it carrying a 1.3 VVT or a 1.5VVT engine, airbags will come as standard, and some engine parts are from the BOSCH stable.

    Even the Cherry QQ got some engine parts from Bosch, so it´s nothing special any more (or worth to mention it)

    This is horrible. It’s a Scion xA (Toyota Ist) with a New Toyota Yaris Front Facia. Horribly cloned.

    So soemone says tha it is Skoda and the other Yaris. To me i seems that this is not a clone because then everybodey would say the same!!
