The Chevrolet Orlando MPV is going to be launched at the Paris Auto Show later this month, but Chinese motor fans have been quick to spot a GM MPV out testing, and many believe it to be the upcoming Chevvy Orlando. The Orlando isnt expected to be launched until 2009, or even 2010, but the car is undergoing road testing in and around the Shanghai area. The Chevrolet Cruze is expected to be launched before the Orlando.

    What is it Dogtucker?

Yes it is……GM is going to miss out on a market that is taking off in the US by not introducing this car to the US.

Only the US production of Orlando is cancelled. The US market may still get the Orlando sourced from Korea. It appears that Korea will be the sole source of Euro and US market Orlandos, as Euro market Orlando and Cruze are already confirmed to be manufactured by GM Daewoo.

No its not-its a similar vehicle-but due to NDA’s etc I cannot say which.

Then it could be a stripped down version for the Chinese market, with 5 seats rather than the unneeded 7.

VW Touran fighter. If true, then it sounds better.

Anymore news on this? Appears to have quietly gone from our radar.
