I am not sure if this is the right time to introduce lower-energy Iron battery, because GM, Japanese and Korean automakers are converting to lithium batteries by 2010. While BYD's solution might be cheaper, lithium has the scale of economy and prices would drop quickly in a couple of years. I don't understand why BYD, so-called the world's biggest battery maker, decided to go with Iron battery. Iron-based battery?
