Brilliance Wagon to launch on December 28th

The Brilliance Wagon, quite possibly the nicest Wagon (Estate) ever made in China is to be launched on the 28th December this year.
The Brilliance Wagon concept was unveiled at the Shanghai show earlier this year, and impressed the crowds with its elongated and rounded rear end, it also impressed many people on China Car Times when we posted pictures of it. For some, it was just too much, the amount of emails, or phone calls we’ve had regarding the Wagon were amazing, but now we can safely say you should be able to buy one early next year.
The Wagon looks to be another winner for Brilliance, their FRV has been selling fantastically since its launch. The BS4 sedan (on which the wagon is based) also sells extremely well, the only car that Brilliance cant seem to sell in large numbers is their Coupe, but then Coupes only attract a small number of people anyway.
Previously the Wagon/Estate market segment was largely controlled by Buick with their Buick Excelle Estate in the low end of the market, and the Mazda6 Wagon in the higher end of the market. With the Excelle Estate rapidly aging (although possibly heading to be replaced by the Opel Astra Estate in 09) the Brilliance Wagon may find itself with a monopoly on the cheap Wagon market.
Pricing for the Wagon will be announced at the formal launch ceremony in Brilliance’ home city of Shengyang on the 28th December.
