Great Wall continuing electric car development
Great Wall, arguably the Chinese domestic leader in SUV and truck production, is turning its hand towards a greener range of vehicles. The above two seater car is expected to be the perfect city car when it launches, top speed is limited to 65kph (in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, its impossible to hit 65kph in rush hour traffic). Although its low speed, the electric car will be able to travel for 140km on one charge, and will be able to recharge to 70% capacity within 10 minutes.
A launch date hasnt been announced by Great Wall as of yet, but CCT will keep our green readers updated.

You sure this is destined for production? My sources in Great Wall said it was purely a technology demonstrator.
would great wall also be developing any other electric vehicles. (specifically – anything larger) that could be available in a Right Hand Drive Model?
My guess that anything electric production wise is a long way off from this manufacturer. BYD is probably the closest to reality at the moment in China. As far as I know the electric version of the F3 is on the market already but how much this is a gimmick rather than a reality remains to be seen.
